Volunteers Make It Happen!
Volunteers are so important to us, and we couldn’t do what we do without them!
Church Volunteers: The church has filled key roles with volunteers. Our Treasurer, Outreach Team, Worship Team and Property Team are volunteers, and have been dedicated to the church for many years. They keep things running smoothly and deal with any issues that arise. There are also several other volunteers that are congregation members and are equally important. They are dedicated to the success of the church, and they put in many hours in many ways! Thank you!!
Thrift Store Volunteers: The thrift store has paid Managers, Karen and Betty, but also approximately 12 volunteers, some of which are regular, others are intermittent as needed. Their biggest task is sorting and pricing items that will be put on the floor for sale, as well as manning the front till and helping customers. This team is downright amazingly organized, diligent and committed to the store. We also have “van drivers” for when we have larger donations to pickup. They ALL make it happen!
Catalpa Apartments Volunteers: Right next to the church, Catalpa is run by a volunteer organization – Trinity Housing Society. They take care of maintenance and repairs of the building, grounds and parking lot, and also deal with tenant inquiries.
Our volunteers fill key roles and are given responsibility and trusted to act with the best intentions and outcomes for the church, store, and apartments. They work together as one cohesive team. Hats off to ALL of our volunteers!
